Canosept ear cleaner for dogs
Wiping the ears with cotton swabs or ear tweezers is an unpleasant and painful procedure for dogs. A common consequence can be injuries to the sensitive skin of the ear canal and the eardrum caused by the dog's defensive movements. The success of this method is also questionable, as it often only pushes the earwax into the ear canal, where it then remains as a solid plug.
The ear washing method with Canosept, on the other hand, dissolves earwax and dirt, relieves itching and thus also leads to a gentle cleaning of the lower sections of the ear canal.
As a supplement to regular cleaning of the outer ear, we recommend Canosept Ear Care Finger Pads . These practical finger pads are also available for dental care . For eye care, we recommend the eye care pads for dogs.
Application
Warm the Canosept ear cleaner in your hand before use. Hold the tip of the ear up with one hand. Pour Canosept, still lukewarm, into the ear until the liquid level is visible. Do not inject into the depth of the ear canal under pressure. Massage the ear canal from bottom to top between your thumb and bent index finger for approximately 1 minute. Important information: Avoid contact with the eyes. Hold the dog's head firmly when applying the drops and massaging them in so that the ear cleaner does not get into the dog's eye when the dog shakes its head afterwards. Do not use if the eardrum is damaged or perforated. Avoid contact with the dog's mucous membranes.
For regular preventative treatment of dogs prone to otitis externa, weekly ear cleaning with Canosept Ear Cleaner is recommended. For dogs with a lower risk of infection, Canosept Ear Cleaner should be used every 14 days to clean and care for the ear canal. If the ear is heavily soiled, the ear cleaner can be used a second time. Do not use on damaged or perforated eardrums. Additionally, we recommend regularly removing dirt and earwax from the outer ear with Canosept Ear Care Finger Pads.
